What this is

A free study aid for students following the NCERT syllabus in Classes 6 to 10. You find your chapter, ask what you are stuck on, and get a hint and a method to try. The full worked answer is there when you ask for it, after you have had a go.

What it is not

It is not your teacher, and it is not an authority on what is correct. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NCERT, CBSE, any state board, or your school. Nothing it tells you is an official answer, and no examiner is bound by it.

It can be wrong

The answers are written by an AI model. It is good at this and it still makes mistakes — a wrong number, a method that does not suit your syllabus, a confident explanation of something it has misunderstood. Two habits protect you:

• Check it against your textbook. Your book is right and this site is a helper.
• Check the question it read. When a question is picked from a chapter list, mathematical symbols can be lost on the way out of the PDF — a square root can vanish, so “√5” may reach it as “5”. When a question is photographed, it may misread blurred text. It will usually say so and ask; if it does not and something looks off, say so.

Do not submit an answer you do not understand. That is the one use of this site that will actually cost you something.

NCERT’s material

Book names, chapter names and exercise questions are NCERT’s, reproduced here so a student can find the question they are working on. Copyright in them belongs to NCERT. Every textbook PDF you open is served from ncert.nic.in; nothing is mirrored or re-hosted here. If NCERT would like anything on this site changed or removed, write to connect@moveahead.tech and it will be done.

Using it fairly

Please do not automate it, scrape it, or hammer the ask box to run up the cost of a free service for students. There is a limit on how many questions one connection may send in a minute. Do not try to use the tutor for anything that is not schoolwork.

Availability

This is provided as it is, free, with no guarantee that it will be available, correct, or here tomorrow. It may be changed or withdrawn at any time. To the extent the law allows, MoveAhead is not liable for any loss arising from relying on it — including a mark you did not get.

Age

This site is built for school students and expects to be used by people under 18. It asks for no personal information and no account. If you are a parent or teacher and would rather a child did not use it, that is entirely your call to make.

Where this applies

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
